Litigation & Corporate Lawyer

Shwetha Maria Solomon is an Associate at MTS Legal, with experience in corporate litigation and advisory and exposure to civil, consumer, family, criminal, DRT, and High Court matters. She currently focuses on corporate litigation and advisory work, including drafting petitions, written statements, counters, versions, affidavits, legal notices, replies, and legal opinions. She supports end-to-end case management, filings, hearings, and case strategy in coordination with clients, advocates, and external counsels.

Prior to joining MTS Legal, Shwetha worked as a Legal Executive at Balaji Malts Private Limited, Bangalore, where she handled core corporate and commercial legal work. Her responsibilities included drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements (including NDAs, employment agreements, and vendor contracts), preparing litigation documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. She also worked on trade and shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, Letters of Credit, commercial invoices, and other contractual documents aligned with commercial and regulatory requirements.

Shwetha began her legal career as a Junior Associate at Kepees Associates, where she acquired strong drafting skills and litigation experience, including client interaction and preparation of legal opinions, replies, and affidavits.

Shwetha brings a structured and commercially oriented approach to legal practice, combining litigation experience with practical exposure to corporate transactions, trade finance, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
